This extra virgin olive oil is made from the Criolla variety, a Spanish-origin cultivar that has developed distinct characteristics over centuries in Peru. It has a high polyphenol content and an intensely fruity profile with prominent green notes of freshly cut grass, mint, artichoke, arugula, and nuts.
The finish is fresh and slightly peppery, with balanced bitterness, pronounced spiciness, and a long-lasting impression. Excellent for pairing with chocolate or enhancing the flavor of pesto.
