A limited edition, fresh olive oil bottled just days after crushing at the mill of Oro del Desierto, this seasonal product cannot be found any other time of year. Made from organic Picual and Arbequina olives picked green in the area of Finca el Vicario in Almeria, Spain, the flavor is exceptionally intense with notes of green grass, tomato, apple and almonds. Its flavor is bitter and spicy, yet exceptionally well balanced. Try it with fresh goat cheese, green salads, sauces, tomato and garlic salads, toasts or just simply with a piece of fresh baked bread.

Oro del Desierto call their Novello '1/10' because this is the first olive oil Oro del Desierto produce each year, and the harvest happens in October, the tenth month. But they also call it '1/10' for another reason: it takes approximately 10 kilograms of fresh, green, early-harvest olives to produce 1 liter of this super-premium Novello olive oil.
