Made from 100% Picual olives harvested and bottled on the private family estate of Nobleza del Sur, this fruity, green, herbaceous oil has aromas of banana and apple peel, with a fresh taste, slight bitterness, and moderately spicy finish. This oil forms an excellent pairing with a variety of meats, seafood, and hard cheeses. It also works nicely both in sauce preparations and for finishing desserts like chocolate ice cream.
As one of the main daytime pollinators of the world’s food supply, the bee represents a natural indicator of the health of the olive groves. To help bring attention to issues of climate change and the overuse of pesticides in agriculture, both of which threaten the world’s bee population, the producers of Nobleza del Sur chose the bee to represent their early harvest organic DAY extra virgin olive oil.
