These jumbo prune olives come from the Argolida and Kynouria areas of Greece where they are known as "Gaidouroelies," or Donkey Olives. Harvested while green for a firmer and crunchier taste, the olives are preserved only in olive oil with a low salt content. Packed in a vacuum bag to ensure freshness, these olives are excellent as an hors d’oeuvre, for snacking, or served with toasted bread and olive oil.
